負荷のかかるショルダー部分にはもう1枚生地をあてた二重構造補強ショルダーヨーク仕様で、肩の磨耗を防ぐつくりにされています。

The jacket is inspired by traditional vintage British duffle coats, 1940s Navy-issued duffle coats, and original 1941 USN Submarine HBT wool jackets. Fabric : The fabric is a charcoal-colored, 30-ounce heavyweight melton wool made of 100% wool. It is an unlined, single-layer melton wool inspired by the 1941 USN Submarine HBT (Herringbone twill) wool fabric. With repeated wear, a broad herringbone pattern gradually emerges.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Front closure with four wooden toggle buttons and linen rope loops for easy functioning with gloves.

Cuff type : The two-step button tab adjustable cuffs let you change the size of the sleeve openings.

Collar : The coat features a shawl collar design. An extended throat latch with a buttonhole is attached to the left side of the collar, and a corresponding hidden button is located on the inside of the right collar. By raising the folded shawl collar and fastening the throat latch to the hidden button on the right side, you can protect your neck from the cold. When you are not using the throat latch, you can fasten it to a concealed button on the inside of the left collar to keep it out of the way.

Storage : Two external open-top patch pockets on the lower front of the coat. Two internal open-top pockets inside both sides of the coat.

Yoke type : Shoulder yoke (shoulder pads). A coat yoke is made from two layers of fabric for durability. Reinforced double-layers shoulder yoke for greater durability at at stress points. The shoulders feature a double layer of cloth which serves to both help repel water better and prevent premature wear of the shoulder areas due to carrying items on one's shoulder.
